New BT50 owners lend me your tape measure
« on: October 29, 2012, 06:17:13 PM »
Hi guys i am looking at a very soon purchase of a new BT50 but am missing a critical measurement

I know the height of the ARB drawers i am putting in
I know the height of my 80l Waeco

I dont know the internal height from the tub floor to the top of the rear hatch frame i.e what is the height of the rear window canopy

I am trying to figure out if my 80 litre waeco on and arb slide draw fill fit with the canopy on

If anyone has a BT50 with a standard roof height canopy and would be willing to measure it for me would be much appreciated

Send Moto Moto a PM. He just fitted a canopy to his, but has taken off to Tassie for a month so might not be checking threads.

What no 200 series?

Heart says yes but wallet says no also i want something a bit more practical as we are currently trashing the prado getting kayacks and bikes on and off the roof

I want to get an ARB canopy with a open ended rack on top for the kayacks then a draw on one side of the tray with the fridge on top and then put the bikes down the other side.

I will admit i was skeptical till i drove one it felt like i was back in my v6 and compared to my current 1kzte motor ummmm year it is fast enough
