Hi All,
We just received our Emu Camper Trailer today, first impressions are that it's big, and built like a tank, even though its classified as a semi off road it looks like you could take a baseball bat to it and it would not dent it.
I haven't had a chance to look at the tent yet, will do that on Friday, and we will be adding a few bits and pieces, some marine carpet, the drain pipes for the poles, spirit levels and so on.
One thing that I was a little surprised by, being a hot dipped galvanised trailer I expected the finish would not have the pristine powder coated look, and when a helpful swagger did a swag inspection he did warn me that there were blemishes on the trailer resulting from the galvanising process, but the trailer looks like it has had a metal scouring brush taken to it, I did not expect quite the extent of blemishing (if you can call it that,) the result is the finished look is quite rough (although it may be bullet proof).
So my first question is, is this normal?
My second question is, is there anything you can do to make it look pretty?
Cheers
