HI mate, I have dual battery in my pajero with a Redarc isolator, a cable run to the back of the car with an anderson plug..... then 6B&S from the drawbar of my 2011 OB Swan to the battery (fused near the battery), works fine.....

Regards

Scott

Haven't ordered yet ordering in feb next year so we can have it by may setting up backyard for it first and trying to build up the bank account the extras I'm looking at getting are....

gas bayonet at rear of swan
12 volt internal plug
2 batteries
kakadu bed flies, awning, walls and kitchen awning
rv control
innerspring mats both ends
extended drawbar
tap on drawbar
roof racks
12 volt water pump

might still add to it yet if you or anyone has any extra ideas that are good I'm all ears
thinking about extra gas bottle and water tank and maybe cd player but may be overkill

cheers luke

In my opinion as an owner of the swan:
  • gas bayonet at rear of swan - wish I did this, but I have a mate who had one installed on his swan and it is behind the wheel that when you use it is into the annex, i wont be cooking in the annex, ... I personally would put it up the front... and that you have an extension gas pipe to the BBQ
12 volt internal plug - they already have one but it is in the cupboard to the right of the stove, were you getting one in addition?
2 batteries - we only have one, if you are camping the the bush and running the fridge off gas then you will only be running the lights etc.... we definately don't need two
kakadu bed flies, awning, walls and kitchen awning - great choice.... the awning is fantastic and provides good privacy.
rv control - good, i just installed a water tank level and use a battery monitor.
innerspring mats both ends - yep, they are much better than the foam
extended drawbar - wish I did
tap on drawbar - good, but i have found that they don't extend it out too far... it is in the way if you want to install pvc pipes/aluminium pole boxes.. plus you have to bend down under the bed and this can be annoying especially as i am over 6foot tall.. i bought some more pipe and a joiner and moved it forward about 70cm before our trip last month (23cm from the front of the drawbar - with the extended drawbar this might be about 53cm or so...... much better,, i would ask that they position it further forward, just a thought...
roof racks - no comment, we didn't have the need...
12 volt water pump - most certainly.....

might still add to it yet if you or anyone has any extra ideas that are good I'm all ears
thinking about extra gas bottle and water tank and maybe cd player but may be overkill - LED internal lights throughout (unless they have decided it is a good idea to have them as standard now), extra gas bottle - depends what you intend doing, going on extended trips weeks on end.....we only got the one and it will take us ages to go through it.... CD player - my wife said she will just take the Ipod... and i agree.

You will have to keep us up to date mate...just remember that you might have to wait longer to get it than you think.. took us 4 months....you could order this year for the 2013 model for pick up in April...

Cheers Scott
