Hello,
My name is Charmaine and I am currently in grade 12. For a business technology assignment I had to create an advertisement on any product I wanted. I have chosen Old Man Emu Suspension, I was hoping, if it wasn't too much trouble you would be able to answer the following questions relating to the advertisement and send a message back to me. Initial OME text in the slogan didn't grab me .. needed a large logo or something... i liked the technical spread though :-)

Just a small suggestion which may have been covered in PM's sent to you.

Perhaps you should change the purchase of the "advertisement" to the "product".
Othet than that, I generally don't read the ads, just give them a passing glance to see the subject matter, so it would need to be a bit more eye catching. Maybe a pickie of a broken shock absorber from the opposition, or the damage a bad shockie could cause, like a 4x4 wrapped around a tree. But that may be illegal.

Alas I am not your target market, however ... in regards to the ad for catching the eye ... well no ... I don't think many people would see the shockie and know it was for 4wd's as the pic of the 4wd is too small.  The Emu is too large (and possibly a bit freaky ? ).  It's a logo after all and should be kept as such IMHO.   So more pics of the shockies under 4wd's doing 4wd'ie kinda stuff would be more appropriate.

The "heading" that is meant to grab ones eye is hard to read against the background.  Maybe a different colour would be more appropriate. 

I think the second pic (although hard to see here on this forum) does help to explain what all the various parts are for (I hope) and why they are important.  I think the page needs something "more" ... it seems a bit empty IMHO.

As has been pointed out, the emu is just a bit weird, and too prominent.  The colour and layout of the main page are a bit distracting / off putting.  The second technical page is much better - less is more with the use of colour.

Well done on your intuitiveness for approaching a site such as this for such an assignment.  I wish you the best on your assignment as well.
I agree with many of the comments, and I will add, that with something that is mechanical, less is more.  The diagram giving the technical specifications is excellent, though not big enough for reading.  There is too much colour involved which distracts from what you are selling.
