Hello from Glasshouse
« on: March 21, 2012, 06:30:39 PM »
Hi all,
Just thought I would drop a line to say hello to everyone.  I am from glasshouse mountains on the sunshine coast.  We are yet to buy anything but hoping to get a lot of information and a lot of ideas from here to arm ourselves to buy something.  Looking at possibly the new step-through mdc ct.  Torn between 2 vehicles at the moment.  Nissan patrol Ti or GXL prado.  Wish choice could be easier.

Welcome and have fun deciding.  :D  There are a lot of good tracks around your part of the country, Mt Mee etc.  Maybe just a tad damp at the moment.  ;D

Welcome to Myswag, good to see another member from the Glass House region: Pity about all the rain we are getting here at the moment.

Lots of great information available here, good luck with sourcing your next 4by, the camper choice maybe even more difficult with all the options available in the market.

Thanks for all the welcomes.

So far it looks like the vehicle is going to be the easier choice.  I have always loved patrols but am leaning more and more towards the prado, as the patrol is starting to look very long in the tooth. Still have a couple of months to decide as not looking to do anything till july.

Hoping to have some sort of idea on the ct by the camping show in brissy in june.  i know one thing i definitley want is a step-thru.  Hopefully I can get a lot of information on here so that i know what i need.  already worked out a few things i get do myself so hopefully save some money there.

Welcome aboard to another Qld'er, apparently been a bit wet up there overnight.
Lot's to entertain you here, just watch the electrical section as it can get a bit "high voltage" there. All good fun till someone gets hurt, then it's hilarious.
Go the Patrol!!
