Hello
« on: March 20, 2012, 08:50:30 PM »
Hi everyone, my name is Wayne aka donuts aka fuji. I love donuts and who loves donuts?
I joind this forum to try and work out which CT to buy. After speaking to Nick in Albury (mtc) I am pretty convinced which way I will go. Johnnos still has a chance, albeit slim. Heading to Albury in a few weeks so will let you know. 35k is a lot of moolah. Cheers

P.S.
I previously owned a Customline (great CT) but sold it 6 years ago when my beautiful daughter was born. Her and mum want the rocket ship on wheels, have a guess.

Welcome Wayne/Donuts/Fuji.

You will find heaps of info here. It's fun looking for the perfect CT, then the ordering, torturous the waiting and then the best bit, getting her out and about. Looking forward to seeing what you get.

Cheers

Thanks Greg,Bubba &Snow
Yes an Ultimate. Don't get me wrong those CTs are great but you get sfa for the money. My partner Liz and I nearly bought one at Caulfield, but I nearly bought a a Complete Campsite (heaven on wheels) as well. We had three hours only at the show so missed most of it. I have changed my mind countless times on which CT to buy until I read a very detailed thread by forgot his name. His final choice was MTC so I started sniffing around their campers. Very impressed and similar in price to CC. So here we go again. Nick at MTC was really helpful as was Heath at Ultimate and Neil at CC. I looked at Lifestyle and was suitably impressed but I heard the tent was made o/s with ozzie canvas. That put me off. I would be happy with a tent from Customline! Trackabout is gone and very disappointed and sad to hear what has happened with JT. Outback are good but there was something missing? Johnnos is in the running only because the Melbourne office is right near where I work and good value for money. Modcon yes but not much info. Jays appear to be good value for a low cost ct and made in Melbourne.  I know that if I go with MTC I wont lose in 10 years time when I sell it. Goodnight all, and stay safe. :police:
