Jazz festival and Folk festival
« on: February 25, 2012, 07:53:39 PM »

The Kiama jazz festival is on the 9th to 11th March (free) and I think the following weekend is the Blue Mountains Music Festival of Folk, Roots and Blues at Katoomba (not free and not cheap, but a good day(s) out). 'Twas a bit wet at Katoomba last year, mud, mud, mud but it was very good.

Had lunch at our favourite cafe in the main street of Kiama during last years Jazz festival and had a band playing next to us.  It was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours.  We will be down there again for this years festival.

Lots of bands and individuals playing all over the place over the weekend down in Kiama.  If your at a loose end for one of the days, I would recommend heading down there.

We'll be at East's Beach Caravan Park for a few days. Looks like a good weekend.

Please, no one mention rain   probably rather damp, but, who cares.
