MHIA (Manufactured Homes Insurance Agency)
« on: October 05, 2011, 06:07:52 PM »
Has anyone any feedback or used MHIA for insuring the CT and contents?  Their PDS seems reasonable and they also insure contents and portable personal valuables, including goods stolen from under the annex.  We wont have a fixed address so we wont have any home contents insurance to help cover any of our contents.

Cheers, Lyndon

For those looing at this Insurance, I got told yesterday, 14/02/12 that they are not doing CT or caravan insurance at the moment. Bummer as I was looking at using them.

We have been insured with them for about a year. (soft top campertrailer)

When the renewal was almost due a few weeks ago, we recieved a letter stating they could no longer offer us insurance "due to a change to our underwriting" or similar.

Shame, as they did seem to offer good cover, with no loopholes for soft wall / canvas annexes etc.

Had both my campers with them (Jayco) found them easy to deal with, when the Expanda arrived I got a quote but they were expensive than others
