Where is Storm Trooper Jacob?

A Storm Trooper’s journey from Perth to Sydney.

Back at the end of October, we met up with young Jacob French - at Eucla on the WA/SA border..

Jacob is a 21 year old young man with a mission..

Dressed as one of Darth Vader’s Storm troopers he is walking from Perth to Sydney, via Adelaide and Melbourne, to raise awareness and money for ‘The Starlight Foundation’.
A journey of over 4000 km’s.



The Starlight Foundation is an organisation that brightens the lives of ill and hospitalised children around Australia.

Young Jacob left Perth last July.
He headed down the coast to Albany - east to Esperance - north to Kalgoorlie - Back to Esperance - then across the Nullarbor.

His aim when he left Perth was to raise $50,000 for The Starlight Foundation.

Where is he now?
Since we met him at Eucla Jacob has crossed the Nullarbor - passed through Adelaide - and today (2nd Feb) he crossed the border into Victoria on his way to Melbourne.

How is his fund raising going so far for The Starlight Foundation?

Today the 2nd February - his total funds raised past his target and stands at $50,372.00 - just over his original aim with still about a quarter of the journey to go.

It’s a wonderful feat of dedication for a 21 year old, and he is a role model for his generation.
He will probably exceed his original aim by well over $10,000.

Have you met Jacob on your travels, or seen him passing by?

3 or 4 Days ago when i checked his Facebook page he was in Kaniva....... My kids want to catch up with him somewhere and make a donation personally.......And perhaps..... jsut a little, i think it would be cool to get a pic with him..... besides its a pretty awesome achievment for a very worthwhile cause

Stormtrooper Jacob reached Ballarat last Friday night (10th Feb)..
He has walked almost 4000 km since leaving Perth.

He has some media appearances in Melbourne over the next few days and will continue walking from Ballarat mid-week.
