Hi from Wollongong (maybe Newcastle next year...)
« on: January 14, 2012, 08:48:19 AM »
Hi everyone!
Just joined this group after finding it by accident!! Looks like a friendly site too!

Born and bred Newcastle but now in Wollongong (hoping to be back in Newy next year!)

Wife, 2 kids, worked out how to stop having any more....

Used to do a lot of tent camping with the family (as a kid) around Harrington and Hat Head in the 70's and 80's.

Been holidaying in cabins for the last few years as our small kids wander, so didn't want tents.  At $3k+ per fortnight though the cabin "camping" is getting a bit rich!

Wife won't go tents, but a camper trailer she is interested in.

Will try not to ask too many stupid questions ("No such things as stupid questions, just stupid people").

Thinking the Lifestyle Extenza (advertise on the site) might be a good starting point.  Not really after an off-road one but....why not...just in case!

Regards,
Chris, Jill and family

Hi Chris, Jill and family,

To Myswag.
Two's a good number, not that we would trade the third in for anything  ;D
A friendly site, hell yeah. Stupid questions are asked here all the time, as I mention to another new member, If you don't ask you'll never know.
There isn't a day that goes by that i don't learn something new here, I might not ask many questions, but gee, I've learned heaps and meet some great folk in the process.
Happy & Safe travels.

I'm in farmborough heights.

But you'll find me lurking around Towradgi as I am secretary of the Nippers at the surf club.

Welcome Chris, Jill and family,

Will try not to ask too many stupid questions ("No such things as stupid questions, just stupid people").

I learnt along time ago that the only stupid question is, the one you didn't ask!
Enjoy your time here.

Welcome Chris, Jill and family

You'll love this site.  It has been invaluable to us.  We have a new Aussie Swag being built at present after much debating.  This site really helped us work out what we really wanted/needed, but I must admit that at times there was so much information to process that it was quite overwhelming, but we finally got it sorted as I am sure you will

We are also down the Gong way, we are at Shell Cove at present.  Looking to sell to head back home to Qld when we can, but that may take some time in this market.

Welcome again
Loshde
