Jayco mods

Hi folks. Just wanted to ask a couple of q's.

First with the jayco bag awning, are the poles only a set length or are they telescopic/retractable or in sections. I say this as I have seen quite a few jaycos with lengthy pole holders and was wondering if there is an opportunity to have poles that can be pulled apart so as to store them in a smaller space. I hope people know what I mean.

Secondly, the Jayco swift does not come with a storage compartment at the front like its bigger brothers so I want to add an aluminium checker plate toolbox after delivery. Needs to be well sealed and dust proof. Can anyone recommend a company that build quality boxes for this purpose in Adelaide (or Melbourne)?

Cheers Paul

Poles for my awning , Kakadu are adjustable.  You could pull them apart but it's a hassle to do that.
