New but not really
« on: November 24, 2011, 02:42:58 PM »
G'day all,

About time I was initiated, been lurking for some time, here’s my Eagle, Yes, another Jayco. It was new in June and was an upgrade from my custom built soft floor.
First trip was the two week shake down around the South West then the run back home with camping at Kalbarri, Exmouth & Coral Bay.
Since then have been to a few places but seems like now we only get out on overnighters due to work commitments.

I tow with a 105, lifted with some extra fruit that makes off road trips easier.
Haven’t had any issues with the camper besides a faulty thermostat on the fridge.
It seems to handle the tracks up here OK, so far so good anyway.

Have done the usual mods in the electrics department, shifted the battery, added led lights, battery volt/amp meter.
Will try and add to the forum when I can, I do travel a fair bit for work so please dont think I'm rude, I'm just busy. ;D

Cheers
Terry

Hello and Welcome tezarowski,

That looks like a great place to set up!  Such a pity you've not let me use this ---->   :worthles:   ;D

Thanks for the welcome,

Yeah thats not a bad spot, plenty of good camping up this way.
Anywhere near the water is the go, we prefer to go inland, have had some bad experiences with sandflies on the beaches.

Cheers
Terry
