There you go, eh? I'd heard about it about 6 months ago, but nothing since.

Apparently we have an eclipse festival now? Are they rolling it in to the annual Ukulele festival, I wonder?

Interesting. Let me know if you do end up heading up Lost.

Thanks!
Matto :)

A great example of web site design - make it so no one can read it. Maybe its supposed to mimic what things will look like if you look directly at the sun.

My son sent me an email on this today.
He is suggesting that we head up to Port Douglas for a holiday at the same time as the eclipse.

I guess he will want me to pay! ;D

Cheers

"SOLAR FX GATHERING 2010
KURANDA AMPHITHEATRE UNDERSTAGE - SATURDAY 13TH NOVEMBER 2010ALL AGES – LICENCED BAR – HOT FOOD – LIVE BANDS & SOLOISTS – DJS – ART EXHIBITION

The Solar Fx Gathering has been staged by the Cairns Community on this weekend since 2006, to celebrate the birthday party of one of our closest friends, and to raise awareness and interest in the events that will be celebrating the Total Solar Eclipse taking place in our region in November 2012."

LOL!  Looks like it's all happening in 2010 at Kuranda.   ;D

I thought Chillagoe was the main place for star-gazing and stuff.

I just tried to view the website  http://www.solareclipse2012.com/   and it comes up Site Off Line. ???
The eclipse might have affected it early, or the ukulele festival organizer has hacked it whoever she is. >:D
