G'day from WA
« on: October 28, 2011, 11:37:21 AM »
G'day,

I'm Dan and I live in Perth WA.

I don't own a camper trailer or caravan, yet.  :'(

I own a Toyota LC 80 series, petrol/gas.

Regards
Dan

G'day,

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
Unsure as to what type of camper at the moment, that's why I'm here  ;D
Inspired by all you customer builders amazing work.

Don't think I would build my own but wouldn't mind trying a refit to get
my hands dirty so to speak.

In 2 minds weather to get a wind up jobbie or a small caravan got a few
aches and pains and I have a big 2 room tent so I don't want a tent.
Just me and the missus now so it doesn't have to be to big.
Off road would be good, do some off roading the beach, national parks
and the likes.

Got an unlicensed not running kombi I was thinking of making into a
off road caravan, have seen a picture of one on this site looks good.
Start by looking a drawing up some plans.

But don't know if easier to just buy a cheapy and go from there.

Any  way thanks for the welcome.
Dan

Hi Dan,
welcome to the forum.
Have a look at the various campers and hire them if you can, to give you a better idea of what suits you best.

Cheers
Mike
