Lights?
« on: October 25, 2011, 09:10:27 PM »
I've noticed a few people have changed the lights in their jaycos to LEDs? Are the lights that come with it crappy? Too expensive to run? Is it expensive or hard to change them over?

It isnt that they are crappy as such. The LED's will provide a "better" quality of light and more of it. The main point is that they use about 1/5th the power draw of the regular globes........so a great saving on the battery if you bush camp without power  :cup:

I bought 15 off ebay from hong kong.............cost about $25 bucks to my door

Bit more ATM than what i paid.......but still cheap as  ;D

Why not get your trailer first. You have dozens of threads looking to change everything around and over. Yea its good to plan somethings ahead...

Once you have your trailer home and set it up, then find what you dont like and work on it... make up your own mind.

YMMV

Yeah I know, I'm getting a bit ahead of myself! I'm just so excited, can't help but ask questions!
