I guess it depends on where you want to go and what you want to do.  Thumbs Up to your local library, who stock lots of fantastic camping books that they will loan to you for a whole fortnight for FREE!!

Oh, and Camps Australia Wide is pretty okay.  I also have Camping Around Australia for free and low cost camping. 

The best place to find some great information is at the local Information counter.  They are run by people who know the place backwards and are willing to assist you have The Best Time in their region.
