Hi all

I have recently joined the forum and I have found heaps of useful information and tips.  Many thanks to contributors.

My wife and I live in Perth and have recently ordered an Ultimate Xtrk Family Pack, full annex and Waeco 80l compressor fridge driven off dual batteries.  I plan to use a Coleman petrol 3-burner with BBQ plate for outdoor cooking.  That was I need one one fuel type - petrol for my Prado, petrol for the generator, petrol for stove, an a little spare in a jerry, just in case.   No gas bottle filling and easy supply everywhere!

I will be shipping my car to Melbourne then drive to the Ultimate factory in NSW for the pick-up in February.  We will then do a shake-down cruise back to Perth via Canberra, along the Alpine Way through Kosciuszko National Park, then the Grampians, Kangaroo Island, and that wonderful "zone-out" drive, the Nullarbor.

After a few more local short trips, we are planning a Kimberley trip in August next year.  And so on, and so on.

Looking for a good name for the Ultimate - suggestions?

Welcome Anthony and family.
The trip sounds good, but don't write off the Nullabor - still things to see off the side

Cheers Mike

G'Day Anthony.

The Coleman dual fuel gear is great stuff - used my gear for over a decade (only got rid of it because of the new KK) and it performed as good on the last day we used as it did on the first - we had two dual mantle lanterns and the double burner stove.  One jerry can of unleaded provided all our lighting and heating for a month at a time!

Enjoy the Kimberley - it's a very special part of the world
