Cub Questions
« on: October 02, 2011, 11:10:08 AM »
1. Do you leave the awning on permanently?
2. If yes, when folding the camper do you leave the awning as it falls when poles are removed and tuck it in OR do you drape it back over the top (hope that makes sense)?
3. For a one night stop do you put poles etc. up OR drape the awning back over the erected camper?
For the record I have a Brumby with extended (deluxe) awning.
Regards P

we were told by the boys from cub in melbourne to tie the awning from and back through the eyelets
and if you did not want to use it,it stayed up on top of the roof of our daintree.
when unwinding and you want to use it just undoe ties as you start to open up and when you have wound out tent awning is hanging down ready to pole up.

I must be the minority.

My annex roof lives in the annex bag under the bed.   It only comes out on extended stays over one night.  Bad weather would make me pull it out also.

I already have an Aircell blanket on the roof for insulation that gets folded into the roof.
