G'day Kebru,
welcome to the forum.
Whole lot of WA members getting together this weekend in Busselton.
Unfortunately I couldn't make it.
Where are you located in this fine state?

Cheers Mike

Welcome, there are plenty of us.  There are a few WA get together threads and you will find most have posted at least once on these.  There are also quite a few registered lurkers around though as I know of at least three I have sold solar kits to in the last two months who I had not heard of.

There may even have been a "where are you from?" poll at some stage as well (state by state) as i seem to recall someone asking something similar in the past.

Yes, the BUSSELTON meet is on this weekend

I've just come 'home' from the dinner that was organized at the local pub, great company and meal too  :cup:

I, as the only Busso member to attend, drew the winning tickets for their raffles, is (as is still happening) a great weekend with some great demo's and very informative information session organized with a terrific display video shown on the use and installation of the mapping system 'aussie explorer'  :cup:

There are some very impressive Campers and 4WD vehicles here too

We're Perth-based. Have not been travelling lately becos Mrs OD had health "issues" (now mercifully resolved). Otherwise would have been in Busselton (we love the Peppermint Park Eco Village).
New toy (Colorado twin-cab ute) sitting in driveway just itching to hit the road. Might have a run up to Jurien/Pinnacles with the Jayco Flamingo if it EVER stops bloody raining!
Then I want to have a look at the Golden West Discovery Trail outside Kalgoorlie, run up and have a look at Mt Augustus before it gets too hot and also explore some of the south coast spots I have not seen.
Cheers, Tony

Paul,

I don't suggest I know the correct way but I find the easy way for me is to click on "Show unread posts since last visit"
which can be found on the top left corner of each page (I think)

Then all posts that have been placed in the time I've been away appear
I only look at those that I have an interest in so I don't read all posts anyway..

The post NAME should give you some idea as to what it is all about, but sometimes it gets lost in the translation  :'(

In the Trips Tracks and Touring Reports Section, hjere is a selection of the combined get togethers and then there are a heap of trip reports done by one or two memebers to other places.

How busy was Nanga Mike? I am planning on going up there in two weekends time. Is the access road still closed so the back gate is left open all weekend?

Cheers Neil

There certainly are quite a few members around in WA, how often is there a get together on, and where do you find out when they are on.
From the replies there seems to be a lot interest
Cheers Kebru

Hi Kebru, I'm in Karratha.
I was in Busso last week after picking up our new camper. A real shame it wasn't a week later or I could have met some "My Swaggers" in the Busso meet. oh well next time.. :D
