hi all am new to site, been tenting it for years now have decided to build a camper trailer,can anyone advise me where to get tent frame and tent from, everywhere i have looked only supplt 7x5 tents and my trailer will be 8x5, also trailer will be higher than your average trailer, thanx in advance.

Welcome to msywag, make sure you start a build thread. You might be struggling to find an 8x5 camper top, most are 7x5.

Hi and Welcome. Where in Gippsland are you. There is a canvas joint in Traralgon who could make you a custom tent. The make tents for a camper manufacturer in Melbourne.

You may need to get the tent custom made, I dont recall ever seeing an 8x5 and yours will be higher off the ground too  ??? ???

Welcome from another Gippslander - where do you hale from?  I think Tambo get there canvas done in Gippsland.  Southern Cross in Bayswater may be able to assist or Outback down seaford way.
