Another hi Alph and Narelle in cairns (the windy FNQ)
« on: April 14, 2011, 09:41:45 AM »
Well the count down has begun.   That was 2 weeks ago.   Now its only 3 - 4 weeks to go before we are supposed to get it, then the mods can begin i.e batteries, water tank etc.     Could someone tell me where boonmoo? is and also the easiest way to Kidson and any other camp sites one can go to in this area, between mods to the CT

G'day & Welcome.

You asked for the easiest way to Kidston but I don't think you mentioned where you're from?

Giday.. Just new here myself and new to the CT.  Boonmoo Station is 10km out from Dimbulla. Easter will be my first visit there and first time in the CT, so cant tell you to much.. Do know they have a heap of private sites on the river. $20 per vehicle per night..no facilities..plenty of firewood and a great getaway close to Cairns..

Hope you enjoy!!!

;D Hey welcome there.  Sorry didn't see the thread sooner... work has been a killer.  Bummer about finishing so late in the weekend, Kidston was great but about 5.5 hours of driving.  Hope to see you out and about, best of luck for Boonmoo
