OK don't know if its been asked before .
Cobb or cast iron camp oven for a roast ? whats the advantages of each type ? what does a better roast ?
Ive successfully roasted my first bit of lamb in a camp oven and it was beautifully
it is only a small 10 inch oven but i want a bigger one .
so which way to go ? Cobb or cast iron ?
I'm must say I'm leaning towards cast iron for a few reasons .
1... cost .
2 ... Ive cooked with 1 already and the results were fantastic .
3 ... can use on a fire so no extra fuel needed .
4... can set it up in my kettle BBQ if need be
