Spare Wheel Cover Help - New to Forum
« on: April 08, 2011, 12:50:03 PM »
G'Day,

I am new to this forum but have watched with interest since the purchase of our camper late last year. I am interested in some feedback on Spare Wheel Covers on Camper Trailers. My spare is front mounted and i am thinking of getting a cover, is it worth it? Have noticed in alot of the mags there doesn't seem to be too many front mounted spares with civers. Perhaps it is a personal thing, not sure. Would love your thoughts.

Cheers

Worth it for what? They are just for looks. Some might say it protects the tyre but unless you plan on leaving it sitting in the back yard with sun belting down on it for 5 years that idea is a bit of a furphy.

By the way, welcome  ;D

I got rid of the cover and replaced it with a wheel garbage bag from super cheap auto. Hide the tyre a little but becomes useful.
