Caravan Parks not far from Melbourne
« on: March 23, 2011, 03:12:36 PM »
G'day All,
Any thoughts on good caravan parks not to far out of Melbourne.
We are keen Carlton Football Club members and like to try and go to a few games every year at the MCG or Docklands. We normally stay at Motels in guts of Melbourne, but with upcoming Jayco Hawk delivery thought maybe caravan parks not to far out of Melbourne maybe an option.
Any ideas greatly appreciated

Cheers Glenn

Hve heard good reports about the one mentioned above. Theres another just down near me at Chelsea Heights and i often drive in to the Docklands to watch the Saints so its not too far http://www.sevillage.com.au

We've stayed at the Big 4 in Coburg (or somewhere near there).  Being close in to the city it's sites are a bit crowded-in as land would be expensive there, but quite good - Big 4 standard of course.

Also stayed at the Big 4 out at Dandenong, it's very nice too.
