Anyone heading up to Geehi this long weekend?

We're heading up that way tomorrow arvo and if your in the area jump on Ch 9 and give us a yell. We plant to camp at the old Geehi hut ( if we can cross the river at the second crossing). Will be driving a silver GU towing a Mountain Trail camper with 3 others.

Would like to get up there but its a bit too far for 3 days, you can always get into the hut from the top side if the river is up too high

They are having a decent dump of rain up there at the moment. For me it is a 200km drive so not too far. I want to check out the New huts since the fires and the underground siesmic bunker not far from the Swampy Plains river bridge.
