Hmm, I personally don't have a problem long term campers at free camp places, especially if they keep it clean.
There is in this country many people who, for what ever reason, and the reason are many, are becoming homeless.
Our Daughter when she first moved to Perth a couple of years ago, struggled to find accommodation, her and her partner found work, they couldn't for a place to live.
They lived our of their Hi/ace for 9 months, camped at many places.
She did say the rangers were really good about it, if there kept moving from one place to another .
They showered at their places of work, renting can be a nightmare.
On the other side of things, on the North Coast of NSW, after the devastating floods, there are many people living on Crown Land, in tents, makeshift dwellings, I don't know what the answer is.
