hey team:

we're living in the remote community of Yarralin in the NT.

Currently looking at a Troopy in Maroochydore in QLD.

Ideally, I'm looking for someone that can check the vehicle over and then potentially store it until NT April school holidays and we could fly over and pick it up.

nothing is set in stone. Just putting the feelers out there...

the third door is the main reason we like this one. Easier access for the dogs.

and the back being ready converted to a camper doesn't hurt either...

Hi Wayn,
We live between our base in Brisbane and  soon to be retirement home in Twin Waters which is just across the river from Maroochydore so could help you out.
Also we have an uncovered area to store the car at our Brisbane property if needed.
Sunday would be the best day to check the Troopy out.

Now for the disclaimer, I am not a mechanic but rather a plumber who has had Toyota 4wd’s since 1984 so have a bit of knowledge of 4wds but can offer no quality assurance or guarantees.

This Troopy looks like it may have been an ex ambulance or government fleet car to have the side door conversion.

Happy to help.
Send me a message and we can exchange numbers to chat.
Regards
Russ

Hey Russ:

thanks for the very generous offer. We're still deciding on the Troopy and now checking another one out that is at Coolum Beach. (this new one is an ex RFDS vehicle... so no mines)

will stay in touch.

Coolum is just up the road 15 minutes so could look at that one also for you. Mind you it might cost you as the best Gelato shop can be found at Coolum.
