Goodyear Traction Mats

I saw these Goodyear traction mat kits at Costco today. I already have a set of Tred rip offs that work really well but was thinking a pair of the Goodyear ones could be a good backup considering they come in pretty small bag. Has anyone had experience with these or similar?

I wish I had patented my strips of foam backed carpet that I carried/ used as recovery tracks when I got my first Hilux back in 1982
