Hannibal Awning
« on: May 11, 2018, 08:06:59 AM »
Hi
After some advise on fixing a Hannibal awning to a rhino heavy duty bar or a rooftop tent rack (round edges Black Window type)
The Hannibal is the small awning at the back of a Wagon.

I google Hannibal awning brackets and it looks like the bracket need to be fixed to a flat square tube (different shape to the Rhino bar)
Have anyone fix it to either a rhino bar or roof edge roof rack?

Just after so ideas before I go to my local welder to fabricate a bracket.
Change is good, so smile and enjoy life!

For the rhino racks, this is what I did (with your old awning  ;D) to be able to make it quick and easy to attach and detach, not sure if it will work for your setup or what you want to achieve but might be good for ideas. http://www.myswag.org/index.php?topic=53427.msg928235#msg928235
