RSL
« on: December 20, 2017, 07:55:25 PM »
Had a wonderfull dinner at the RSL at Salt Kingscliff.
We, as normal, filled in our details before dinner.
My nephew asked why we fill in the card and I did not know.
So, why do you have to fill in the card when you entre the RSL?
Change is good, so smile and enjoy life!

Because it is a club on a club license and you need to be a temporary member if you aren’t a proper member or under reciprocal rights.

Temporary member of a club....and also a requirement of a club if you want to claim winning from the various forms of gambling.

Sadly I no longer go to RSL’s...after the way I was treated some years ago.

I asked a committe member that question once and he said the clubs like it because it makes it easier to ban someone if they need to due to their behaviour. Kevin

Current valid ID Photo card required,No ID no entry usualy,   NSW Clubs have a distance placed around them by licencing,   if  you reside in that distance  IE : 5km you need to be introduced as a full Members quest or Join up as a member.. Bonafide visitor from outside the 5 km radius can be admitted as a tempory member but unable to sign in other quests ..

RSL clubs are awesome places usually with top people...
Played cricket for a couple of RSL's back home years back.. great bunch of blokes, and the people at the club were always great supporters.
