Jayco Swan Outback
« on: March 05, 2017, 05:51:21 PM »
Hi all, this is my very first post on here, first of many I'm thinking.
After spending 6 years in a soft floor camper we have just ordered a 2017 Jayco Swan Outback for our family with 3 kids. I have done my research and considered going to an Expanda outback but honestly the Swan has more bed space and as we are an outdoor family and we dont need the other luxuries. With a show special we paid much less than i expected and got all the extras i wanted without the ones we didnt need or want. The salesman was from the factory in Melbourne and seemed to be very honest and said that a few issues with previous models have been rectified with the 2017 model. Its going to be approx 8 - 10 weeks before delivery but we are in no rush but i am interested to see pics of any modifications and upgrades Jayco Swan Outback owners have done (annexes and awnings included). As i am a qualified electrician and gas fitter i am looking forward upgrading a few power and gas options. Would love to hear what your 12V set ups are too.
Hoping to see lots of Jayco Swan Outbacks.
WANT FRIES WITH THAT??????

Bought a 2009/10 Swan Outback last year and have loved it ever since.
I had a Cub Supamatic Regal Off-road. No comparison. Love the luxury. Am taking it to the Mansfield annuat meet. Will be spending a bit of time checking out the 'others'.

Did they say what faults they had fixed from the 2016 Jayco Swan Outbacks?
