Squeeze Box Ladder

So I came across this ladder on line the other day and it's folded size appeal to me but I I'd like to know if anybody has any practice experience with one.

I think you should get one and do a review of it. 


Looks like it is a great idea and a good space saver. If you think it is good I may be tempted myself.

120kg rating means domestic use only.

Might get a bit wobbly in time when all those pivot points wear/loosen?

Still a great idea for limited storage space.

We have one and take it with us camping all the time. Great height to reach the top of the annexe poles and the roof rack on the car. Folds down and fits across the floor in the back seat. We love it.

Worksafe....  They need an AS compliance and be labelled 'Industrial'.  I can't see any if that on their web page.
I did make a mistake.  120kg is the minimum for industrial rating, I thought it  was 150.

We've got a "squeeze box ladder" and it's great for putting up annex etc.  I've got and extra 150mm pvc tube on our camper and it fits in perfectly. If you are a tradie, you wouldn't use one but for camping purposes, they are spot on

I have one and did a small review on a facebook group for it:

A week or so ago I created a post about my shakedown trip for our new camper. During the conversation I mentioned that I found a ladder to be a must have item for an Outback Swan. Someone said that if I find the ideal ladder, let them know.
Last week at the SA Caravan and Camping show I spotted one of these. For those who dont know its called a Squeezebox Ladder. Basically it folds up in to a long rectangular pole. This is great as it takes up bugger all space compared to a normal ladder.
The specs are:
Folded 50(d) x 120(w) x 1200 (l)
150kg rated
3 step
$149 (a bit rich I know but for the space etc, well worth it).
Hope this helps someone.

I used it alot on my last trip and it was magnificent. I didnt find it wobbly at all. Its one of those items that you cring a bit because of the price but then state how glad you are that you brought one when you use it. Im happy with mine and recommend them.

Thanks guys, I have spied a second hand one near me which I might give it a go.

Well I picked up that one of Gumtree,
Now I'm not sure I would have payed $140 for a new one (delivered) but $80 for a near new second had one was not a bad buy.
It's not a ladder you could use every day or for heavy duty work. But for setting up the camper it works well.

Likes, it takes up next to no room and fits into a 150mm pole holder. It's light and easy to set up.

Dislikes, the rungs are split in two by the mechanics to consentina which limits how you can stand on the rung
