Replacement jockey wheel clamp
« on: January 27, 2017, 01:56:49 AM »
Who out there manufactures quality jockey wheels and clamps. Our 2 years old Supercheap quality clamp one just this evening the thread came off the clamp handle.
Before I rebuilt the trailer the original jockey wheel had lasted 27 years and I thought while its being rebuilt why not a new jockey wheel.
This is the second wheel assembly because first one wouldn't even steer and luckily I was granted a refund.
Hopefully I could buy a new clamp part but if not I could manufacture a new clamp handle and tigweld a steel nut into where the handle screws in.
If possible I'd rather buy a replacement clamp part.

That's an alko one in your picture. It's what I use and they are great!

All I need is a Maco Mule as they seem to be the only decent and steerable wheel, pity they went under.
