Hi from Bris..
« on: January 01, 2017, 12:06:11 PM »
Hey guy,s and girls..  Just got my hands on a 2015 FJ cruiser which I,m currently setting up for remote off road travelling..  Ordered a new Patriot X1 limited edition camp trailer as well which should be built by the end of Jan.. Getting the car set up right with all the latest bits and pieces is taking a long time with all the reviews and research to be read, but slowly making my way thru the list..
I,ve got some serious coin wrapped up in the trailer so hoping I can get some advice on here about some good GPS tracking and security for it.. Difficult to find a good unit that can be concealed and still pick up a good GPS signal via an external aerial..
Be nice to get info and meet some friends on here too..
Just me and my dog planning to tour Oz.. The hard way.. :)

Doesn't someone on here sell the gps trackers for campers? I seem to recall seeing it on here one time.

Welcome to the funhouse

Thanks for all the replies guys..  So difficult trying to get things done around Xmas time.. Seems everyone just wants to go on holidays rather than slave over my FJ.. Not sure what,s wrong with them..
And I see I have a few replies about the GPS unit also.. Thnx guy,s..  Lots to research and review and get a little lost when it comes to all the new techno wizardry out there..

Yeah picked it up last week.. Small, tough and well thought out. A few small things to get arranged and I,ll be out on a test run..
Still need to get the GPS wired up to it..
