This thread from another forum has a few comments about the P3s
http://www.patrol4x4.com/forum/tyres-wheels-38/new-mtz-p3-265010/

Here are some on the STT

Good luck with your choice.

If I was going muddies again I'd go MTR's or Claws.

I've had 6 sets of MTR's over the years on both GQ and GU.. loved em.

P3's were great on my Patrol.
A good all round tyre.
(er, I guess most tyres are all round, aren't they :) )

Ok, So we are going with the MT ATZ p3 265/70/17, will be fitted in a couple of weeks

Next question is, what do you think of these mods, we are officially relocating to the Pilbara early January, I am already here, wife and kids after Xmas.  even better news is she said to me today, yes i know we will spend some money on the Ute, it's ok.  Thats like throwing an open cheque book at me.

Tyres - all sorted
Suspension, looking at tough dog, same as i had last time, question is would medium load be ok 0-300kg constant load, i reckon it will be, last time i had heavy duty and was a bit feral if i'm totally honest
Snorkel for them water crossings - probably stick with Safari, no dramas last one i had
Bull bar - like the look of the Opposite Lock - OL 125TH12F
UHF - GME TX3100 can get on eBay for $202 (seems reasonable) though i wouldn't mind suggestions for a UHF with speaker in hand piece?
Compressor - suggestions please, i saw one ages ago with a little air tank, cant remember the name of it though
Drifta draws with slide out table
Shade awning - suggestions please
Fridge drop slide - already own a 40 Lt fridge
Hard canopy - opposite lock quoting on one for me currently

Pretty sure i'm missing something obvious here but cant think, it's late

I've just installed an icom 450 into my disco, replaced a GME unit which had stopped transmitting - in fact the last two GME radios I've had have failed in transmitting so I thought I'd try the icom this time

I have had Coopers STT and are now running MT ATZ 4 rib.
In my opinion the MT is the better of the two.
