Adding a boat loader
« on: November 08, 2016, 02:40:03 PM »
Hi guys,

I currently have a 2015 customline adventure walk up with no boat loader, and I am wondering has anyone custom built or installed a boat loader to there camper trailer? I would prefer maybe a tilting one so you need have to take the boat off for overnight stays but at this point I'm open to any suggestions!! Just don't really know if it can be done. I'm at Newcastle Nsw if anyone knows anyone that can fit or fabricate one.
Thanks Joel

If you dont have a boat yet, why not look at getting a porta bote or equivalent . only 20 kg -+ and 100mm thick 5 minute set up and strap it to the camper ..
A second hand one would be about the same cost as a tinny and frame to be fabbed up .Roughly .

Cheers try again I had a chat to that guy but unfortunately that rack is a little narrow and a bit short but that is basically exactly what I'm after! I've contacted customline but haven't heard back as yet.

I hadn't really thought about the porta boat as I live on Lake Macquarie so was looking at a 3.8 tinny to be used around the lake and on holidays but thanks heaps for the heads up!
