I know this isn't directly what you wanted... but I've had great response dealing with Ian at Bundutec.

Just had a look at that bundutec awning video.  WOW!!

Does anyone have one and are they as easy as they seem?

yes I have one. About to be fitted to the "half an 80 series" trailer. Will let you know how it works for me personally.

I have had the opportunity to play with one though. Dead easy... even for a numpty like me. The slowest part of opening it up is unzipping it. Feels very sturdy when opened and tensioned at the back.

For wind, you can peg it "down". Though for heavy wind, you can also add upright poles. I'm working on the idea of lunch stops just flip it open. for overnight stays, add the uprights.

Probably one of the best buys for me. It was straight forward dealing with Ian.
I'll be adding it to my Cruiser over the weekend.
