If polluting the water wasnt bad enough, the evidence is showing other serious consequences.

Yep its bad practice, especially when australians still pay 40% more than japan for gas thats produce here?? So there is little discernible benefit to australia.

The amount of mines being left for the taxpayer to clean up after the mining company strips assets overseas and declares bankruptcy is a disgrace. Directors need to be held personally accountable.

But its Legislation by donation here in australia.

Directors need to be held personally accountable.

Half the time, I'd reckon you'd find that the Directors / members of the Board are ex-pollies, so you'd have 2 chances of them ever being held responsible for anything  >:(

But the Government is addicted to the mining royalties, so they will keep approving it regardless of how green they claim to be.
