Tools on COTD, who actually managed to buy something
« on: March 19, 2012, 10:26:40 PM »
Finally got around to viewing COTD deal on my pc, (phone doesnt work too well for viewing the fine print) to find that everything is sold out.
So, who managed to find the bargain? Who managed to actually buy something from there?
What did you get?

Jealous, I wanted the DeWalt or Makita combo cordless kit......

Maybe with my next job.,
Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....

Have to be quick with the really good stuff.

Never bought anything myself, but know plenty that have.

Small fish items like this

Hey Cruisindub,

Noticed the tools online last night. Were some nice things in there. I looked hard at the portable bandsaw for quite some time. Noticed though that none of the tools came with charger or batteries (the ones I looked at anyway) - just the tool themselves. Which is fine for tradies that already have an investment in a particular system, but for mugs like me it just meant more $$$s.

Would have been nice!

Just as well they were all sold out. The good wife would have pestered me to finish all those jobs that I have started but never got around to finishing had I bought anything from there.
