A 25 metre power lead soon gets rid of any noise.
Over the christmas and NY break we were free camping and this group of people had not1 but 2 generators going 1 to power their TV and outdoor lights the other for their aircon, I went down at 8.30pm and asked if they had intentions of having their generator'S going all night they said it will be turned off in 1/2 hour at 11.00pm I suggested they turn it off only to be copped with a mouth full of abuse, BIG mistake little did they realize that most of the other campers at this camp ground were locals from a pub I drink at, lets just say that it was turned off very quickly and they left at the crack of dawn with out making any noise.

Oh and their generators were a good 25 meters from their camp site which meant the generators were 25 meters closer to all the other campers

Okay - don't leave the story dangling tantalizing like that.. fishfinder

Do tell us what the camping pub locals did to shock them into evacuating early the next morn...
