Google Search Issues
« on: January 18, 2016, 10:00:59 AM »
Wondering if anyone else has had this issue..
Basically www.google.com.au - google search wont allow me to amend a search after searching... This is in IE/FF/Opera.  but not always - roughly 7-10 searches...

if I search for anything - EG: Car Audio and his the find button, then if I wanna change it to "Alpine Car Audio" - it wont let me type in the search bar - it just puts spaces in there...

Also if I want to click on a link that isn't in the view of the main screen - example the last link in the search of page 1 of the results, if I scroll down the page, and hit the link, it jumps back to the top... and doesn't open... ???

I've searched numerous forums, google forums, sevenforums, etc, and theres numerous people with the issue.. This is on work machines, and home. All windows 7...

Manually clearing cache doesn't help either :(
Anyone else?

If you don't care about the actual results from your search, try  Bing ;)

I feel like i have had this myself from time to time using Chrome with proxies and VPN. I think it was when there networking problems.I put it down to connectivity causing issues for the Google real-time/active searching and thus is misbehaved.

Yup the same IE11, Windows 7. - just type in the address bar not the google search box. That is if you have your search to work that way.

Hasn't appeared of late though.

No issues on Windows 10/Office 2016 using FF though.

I had a issue where I googled "naked birds"...I most certainly didn't get the result I was hoping for, instead some big ugly bloke appeared on my screen wearing nothing but a leaf covering his tackle...scarred for life I am now  :'(
