Family of 5 with 3 little ones.

Clothing & shoes (including swimmers & wet weather items and towel each)
Food & stuff to cook with & eat on. lots of  water. Alcohol & marshmallows for later (also like to have the double hammock out for this too)
Something to sit on.
Wood for the fire (and a lighter or matches)
Emergency items/first aid stuff, sunscreen & insect repellent.
Toys. books, colouring in stuff, bikes, balls/bats etc.
Something to sleep on (stretchers/mattress, sleeping bags & pillows)


Then were set! probably forgetting something important. always do haha but in which case we just head to the nearest store to buy it or do without if we can

Serious note this time...

We just have to throw in the back of the car - bag of clothes each together with the Waeco in the back of the car with milk, vegies, meat.  Hook up the camper and we're pretty well right to go.

We have a plastic box in a cupboard in the house with all the non perishables like sugar, coffee, cereal, spreads so just a quick top up after we get back and it's ready to go for next time.   Throw this in the camper the night before.

In the camper kitchen lives all it's own cutlery, crockery, washing up gear (ironically I enjoy washing up when camping - but not at home??) and pots/pans, Bushman's mozzie spray and sunscreen.

Other plastic boxes in the camper live:

- kids stuff - soccer ball, sand toys (in their own bag), Frisbee, tennis balls and little bat, and some rope for skip.
- dedicated spare sheets to change when needed so fresh for next time, tea towels, bath mat to place inside tent to pick up wet or dusty feet.

Inside trailer - Foldaway table/chairs and camp chairs and Beefeater Sportzgrill BBQ and stepladder, fishing rods and solar panels when going off grid.

Living on top of the bed are two double bunk beds riveted and folding flat (just needing the legs placed to set up.  Self inflating mattresses (makes the bunk beds a little more comfortable for the kids - and sometimes they just use these on the floor).

Under the tonneau goes the bags with awning sides and flooring. 

Inside the front storage box stays LED camp lights, fishing tackle, ropes/pegs, shovel, hammer x 2, axe, a couple of local papers and firelighters and a few spare blankets and don't forget GGV8Cruza's security cables.   

Also living in the front box is a little tackle box of my 'bits and pieces' including some tools, spanner, screwdrivers (flat & Philips head), zip ties, couple of torches, gas fitting adapters, gaff and electrical tape and a little pocket knife multi-tool.   

Oh - and the family can come too !!!

Now I've listed all this stuff I now know why it used to take me so long to pack the 6x4 trailer with all my gear each time...
