A warm g'day to the members of my swag from the icy wastelands of Canberra. A brief intro:
We are a young family of four from Townsville who are now living (freezing) in the ACT and have just bought a secondhand 2013 Customline adventure walk up from some wonderful people in Wollongong. The camper is bloody fantastic and we can't wait to start trekking about in it. We did a lot of research ( particularly on this forum) and we are very happy with it. The camper is like new and already has some great mods.
I have done about 16 years worth of camping in the bush. This, however has been slightly different...(on heavy armoured vehicles for defence) So it's nice to swap the tank for a comfy bed..and a beer.
I have already caught the bug and find myself working on the camper trailer whenever I get a chance to improve little things here and there and make it our own. Will post some photos when available.
Have been reading this forum for a while and I must say, it's great to have a place like this to capture so much experience, advice and the odd rant..thanks in advance to any and all who I will get tips from. Reminds me why we are so lucky here in Australia. Friends and family everywhere.
I look forward to speaking to you all through various forum posts or even catching up around the place. Don't forget to bring a couple of extra XXXX Golds if you see us.
Thanks again, can't wait to hear from you.
Cheers,
Tony
