Repacking cordless drill batteries

I've had the ryobi one for a few years now. Recommended by my cousin who is a cabinetmaker. Apparently they get used quite a bit in kitchen assembly factories and the like. 

Mine have done quite a lot of work for a diy set and I am happy with them. Thinking about getting the 1/2" drive impact driver to make changing wheels quick.

Interested in this too, let us know how you go with it. I have some Ryobi 1+ stuff and for what you pay I think it is pretty good gear.

I went into the local Masters to eyeball the Stanley Fatmax and Dewalts. I wasn't impressed with the Stanley but didn't mind the Dewalt.

While I was there I had a quick look at the blue Bosch, as I've been happy with my last battery drills from them.

I saw two models, a GSR and a GSB so I jumped on their website on my mobile and this came up...



I had a look at the box and the part number was the same so I thought too good a price to pass up, I'll have it...



I scanned it at the register and the price of $279 came up so I asked for assistance and showed them the same photo showing the same model number.

They then tried to tell me that they are different as they do have different part numbers in the SKU and on the barcode, so I said "I pull cables for a living, not read barcodes". After maybe half an hour talking to the hardware salesman, then the assistant manager and then the manager I walked out with it for the $149. I don't normally stick to my guns with this stuff but I thought it was pretty black and white.

Anyway, it should do the trick...
