« on: April 11, 2015, 05:40:40 PM »
Hi has any one rented  any of the houses in behind the dingo fences at eurong village on fraser island and if so which ones im guessing it wont be cheap for the first 2 weeks of august though friends want to stay in this area as they have little ones and feel it will be easier than camping on the beach
thanks

A couple of the private and parks camping areas have dingo fences now. Eg Cathedrals.  Would be cheaper

Have stayed at Fraser Island Beach Houses which was nice. They have bungalow style units with aircon, tv etc and also a pool.

Have also stayed in a house in the second valley ( could find out name tomorrow) that was very basic with no tv etc but had a great entertaing area and room for the kids to run around in the yard.

Would personally be happy to go back to either.

Yep, about 3 years ago, we rented the Beach Cottage or something like that at the second valley at Eurong.

Great house, bug proof and screened BBQ area out the back, nice and tidy, good condition etc and we did a last minute book thing at "I THINK" about $166.00 per night and we had 4 of us there.

Sleeps about 10 I think.

Dingo proof fence, concrete parking for the Jeep, so it didn't get scared being "off road" and it had a back yard outdoor shower and hut set up.

Google will be your best friend. If ya can't find it, let me know, because I'd remember it as soon as I see it.

The only down side, ya might end up with the Edz clan and the Jeepers Clan doing some free loading while ya there.

I DON'T CARE HOW NICE THE HAND SOAP SMELLS.....

You should never walk out of the public toilets sniffing your fingers.
