Portable air compressor question.
« on: March 16, 2015, 05:47:21 PM »
I bought an air compressor just before xmas very similar to the one in the pic.It has one of those annoying curly air lines which i would like to swap to just a regular straight one.By changing air lines i also am going to change fitting on the end of the hose from the screw on type to the conventional type where you just push it on and it stays there.
My question is do i have to drill & tap a air safety valve like the one in the other pic and what would be the pressure valves pressure?

cheers.

yeah i have the same compressor as the pic mate, i just cut off the screw on type fitting at the tyre end and put on a push on one. didnt worry about the safety valve thing as the compressor just keeps blowing out the hose when you disconnect.
