Roof bars for landcruiser - opinions please
« on: November 29, 2014, 11:54:36 AM »
Hi,
as ive purchased a couple of stand up paddleboards for the wife and I, i now need to purchase some roof racks to transport them.  im currently looking at the Thule wingbar and the rhino rack vortex bars, there is onl $10 difference between them from my local shop being $389 for the rhino and $399 for the thule.  both look pretty good in my opinion for what i intend to use them for (leaning towards the Thule personally)

Can anyone provide me with some feedback about either of these?

im only going to need two and not three as the sups weigh not much at all, i will also at times be putting our bikes up there.

one thing im not sure on is whether the cruiser will fit in the garage with the racks on or will i have to remove them?  the cruiser is not lifted currently.

Thanks

Got the vortex bars (3) on the cruiser. Work well, don't seem to create any wind noise. Happy with them.

Price the aero rhinos through Toyota as their kit. With the HD rhino bars works out $150 cheaper than going with Rhino.
Here for a good time, not a long time!
