New CT owner from Adelaide
« on: November 16, 2014, 07:57:08 AM »
Hi,

I'm Stuart, I have been lurking here for a while so thought I should introduce myself. After struggling with tents etc we decided to go for a CT and were not seriously looking but saw an Eagle Trailers Cherokee FF on Grays Online. Basically got it for half normal price, which made it a no brainer for us. So I took it to Eagle so they could do the registration as the OEM and they were extremely helpful and showed me all the 'little things' wrong with it and why they had them on Grays Online. Yes it's chinese but considering this was effectively 'not good enough' for Eagle to sell as new (was a sample of sorts from one of the Chinese factories) and would cost them too much to rectify in Aus, I'm happy.

I have already rectified the worst of the minor things (new Jockey Wheel, stronger lock on the kitchen slide and strengthening on the spare wheel carrier).

I look forward to reading and learning more from this excellent forum.

Cheers!

Hi Stuart, welcome to myswag and great to have you on board.  Congrats on the new CT. Hope you get it sorted and get out there camping asap.  Don't worry too much about what might need fixing today. Once you're out there you're going to find hundreds of little fixes and mods you will want to do to make the experience easier and more comfy.  Enjoy, but ask away any questions you may have.  Lot's of folk on here full of........tips, tricks and ideas:-)
