Great last 10 minutes for Souths fans to soak up. Shame the game never had a grand final feel about it.

That's the south , bit like having a public holiday on a Tuesday, only in Victoria

Um... it's called a four day long weekend.

I don't see an issue with the modern scrum. Must be peoples hang up with the past. The scrums stopped working years ago. The modern scrum keeps 6 out of the set line. It's part of the game today.

It does look like a farce though seeing a modern scrum. Maybe they should all hold hands and skip in a circle until the ref says stop......or sit in a circle and play duck duck goose.

:cup: :cup: :cup: :cup: :cup: :cup: specially when you used to play front row and look at it - the ball doesn't even get in the joke 1/2 the time!! straight behind the fullbacks feet...

One of my last games, we had a halfback on the opposing side making a comeback after many years, 1st scrum, the ball comes in and as prop I've gone wtf Isherwood ball doing in the middle, it went straight through and out the other side...

and neglected to tell the australian coach, who found out from the newspaper.

what a knob.  a decision this big would have taken months of thinking and preparation and yet didn't have the guts to tell the australian coach.

his talent will be missed, but his attitude won't be.  he'll fit right in with the showboaters in the NFL.

on a side note:  there goes NSW's chance of winning two in a row... :)

you have to feel for Parramatta i reckon...the guy was one of the most overated players for years IMHO, then he finally lives up to the hype and this year had a cracka of a year (as much as it pains me to say that being i'm not a fan of the guy...lol). Just when Parra would have been thinking you beauty lets see what 2015 brings, he bails to try NFL.
Good on him for following a dream i guess, will be intersting to see if he can get a start or even go on to bigger things in that game.
