Came around today but all I saw was a Customline in the carport.

Thanks Ren.  Have been playing a bit over on here http://www.newd-max.net/index.php. We just celebrated our first birthday

Hey welcome back  ;D
Just wondering if there's any info about after market rated recovery points for D-Max's on that forum your on?? Cause I've got a mate with a 2014 D-Max and he's asked everywhere and no one sells them..
He just doesn't want to use the tie down points because it is very unsafe and doesn't want to injure anyone..
Oh and he's not the type of bloke to jump on forums.
Cheers for any info

Thanks mate.

Short answer, no.

I know of one national company who attempted to get their prototype recovery point certified by an engineer but it failed and they have gone back to the drawing board.  Maybe something early next year.  ARB are not developing any at this stage and recommend using an equaliser strap on the two factory points.  Isuzu say the factory points are OK if used with an equaliser but don't recommend for a snatch recovery, so just winch and towing.  I have used them with an equaliser for a gentle snatch but had a dampner for safety reasons.  Worked OK but would be cautious about anything too heavy duty.
